GBA JOURNAL / PRACTICE HABITS

A simple training journal for badminton players

A training journal does not need to be complicated. A few lines can help you remember what your coach asked you to practise and which questions you want to revisit.

Make it practical.

After class, record the date, the main activity and one piece of feedback. Describe your own experience without turning every session into a score. Over time, these notes can support a more specific conversation about your progress.

Your session checklist

  • Keep entries short enough to maintain.
  • Use your coach’s wording where possible.
  • Review earlier notes before your next session.

A useful next step

Bring one recurring question from your journal to your coach instead of guessing at the answer.
